 I will discuss an easy way to root your Xperia J with latest JB 11.2.A.0.33 or 31,21.

For what root our Android phone ?

If you want to root your android device just follow this article.i have devided this article in some steps for your better understand.
Please note that i have used Rooting Toolkit (v17) on my device.so use v17 of Rooting Toolkit.

N:B:i highly recommand you to use windows 7 not other version,because they have compatibility issue and you must fix them before working.
(See video to fix compatibility issue)If you fail to root your device,Please try again,it will not harm your device...
and last thing icyarena team will not take any responsibility ,you have to do this at your own risk..
It will work on both locked and unlocked bootloader.

Configure your device and computer

First Download ADB driver,it helps to connect your device with computer for rooting purposes.
  • Click here to download ADB driver.
  • Now come to your android device , enable "UNKNOWN SOURCES" from (Menu\Settings\Security)
  • Then enable "USB DEBUGGING" from (Menu\Settings\Developer options) see screenshot from xperia devic

Now connect your android device with computer by usb cable.
  • Unzip and Run ADB driver and you will see your device name.
  • Select your device and Click on install.

Root your device by Rooting Toolkit

haven't you download Rooting Toolkit ? if yes,then be serious...
  • Unzip downloaded Rooting Toolkit and Click on RUNME.bat
  • Press any key from keyboard(See instructions on screen),it will execute itself and your device will restart.May be you have now your rooted device.
  • To check go to menu and see installed SuperSU application.
  • If there is no installed SuperSU app.Please follow this article again...best of luck..
